For years, a fun and heartfelt rivalry has lived on between alumni of Lake Worth High School and Santaluces High School—from text threads to social media posts, the playful banter never missed a beat. It was all love, all pride, and always spirited.

That energy took on new life when Katina 'Trina' Pinder   asked her friend Wendy Kelly  (LWHS) to host the Chiefs’  Class of 1995 30th reunion. True to tradition, the event was filled with laughter, memories, and a little friendly trash talk. After the celebration, in the spirit of fun, Wendy jokingly posted to social media, “We should host a field day or something!” To her surprise, alumni from both schools jumped at the idea—and the calls, DMs, and “When is it happening?” messages started rolling in.

With growing excitement, Wendy reached out to Trina  and a few trusted friends, and together they agreed: let’s do it. What started as a joke turned into The Legacy Game—a spirited, purpose-driven event that celebrates connection, community, and good ol’ school pride.

But this was never just about fun. One of the host committee members suggested donating any remaining funds to someone in need or a charitable cause—and that’s when the real mission took shape. With every game, every laugh, and every dollar raised, Legacy S.Q.U.A.D. is committed to creating impact while keeping the community connected.

We’re here to celebrate where we came from, support where we’re going, and make a difference along the way. Because legacy isn’t just what you leave behind—it’s what you live out, together.
